Jared Cash – Lead Pastor
Jared grew up and lived in the Schertz area until graduating high school. After working at churches in Dallas and Austin and finishing seminary, Jared and his wife Jessica moved back to Schertz to start Impact Church.
Jared likes watching and playing sports, recording music, and spending time with Jessica and their daughter Juliette.
Steve Smith - Impact Groups Pastor
Steve and Sun-Hee were called to Impact Church in 2017 following his retirement from the USAF. They have three wonderful children Kenny, Katherine and Sammy. Steve and Sun-Hee both accepted Jesus Christ in 2008 dramatically transforming their lives. Throughout his many moves in the military, Steve actively served in various leadership roles in several churches both overseas and in the United States. One of Steve’s favorite life verses is John 7:37 - …Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.”
Lillie Carlton - Children's Pastor
Lillie grew up in Louisiana, where she earned her degree in Sociology-Family/Child Services from Nicholls State University in Thibodaux.
After graduation, Lillie married Zack Carlton and began teaching elementary special education at Acadian Elementary in Houma. While living in South Louisiana, Lillie was very active in her church home at University Baptist, where she served as a youth leader and children’s ministry volunteer. In 2016, God called the Carltons to San Antonio, and after the birth of their son, Reagan James, Lillie was blessed to become a stay at home mom.
Lillie enjoys spending time with her family, being outdoors and watching her son grow and learn new things.
Zack Carlton - Student Pastor
Zack was born and raised in San Antonio. He graduated from Samuel Clemens H.S., completed his undergraduate degree at Howard Payne University and earned his master’s from Nicholls State University.
Zack has worked alongside a number of senators and congressmen, as well as a handful of Presidential candidates. A former quarterback for the HPU football team, Zack has been involved in college athletics since 2007, and currently serves as an Assistant Athletic Director at the University of the Incarnate Word.
A former teacher and football coach at Byron P. Steele H.S., Zack fell in love with youth ministry while serving at University Baptist Church in Thibodaux, Louisiana. He and his wife Lillie welcomed their son, Reagan James, on May 15, 2017.
Cody and Meagan Raygoza - Worship Leaders
Cody grew up in a military family and moved back and fourth between San Antonio and Germany until graduating from Randolph AFB high school (The mighty Ro-hawks). After graduating from Texas State University with a bachelor of exercise sports science, Cody was accepted into the Texas State doctoral program of physical therapy.
While in college, Cody met his now wife, Meagan. Meagan grew up in New Braunfels and graduated from Texas State University as well, with her Bachelor of Science in Early Childhood Education. For the past three years Meagan has been a kindergarten teacher at Sippel Elementary School.
Cody and Meagan enjoy traveling, having game nights with friends and family, playing music together, drinking coffee, and hiking with their dog, Dakota.
